After Radio 88.6 already presented Austria’s largest rock band at the “88.6 Rocktogether” in the past two years, this year’s event broke the world record for the rock band with the most musicians on the Danube Island… and Def Crüe supported the friends at 88.6 to celebrate this historic moment.
Our very beloved morning show host and the mastermind behind 88.6 Rocktogether, Timpel, coordinated and directed the show. The energy radiated by the numerous musicians who turned up made the event an experience to remember. The chosen song “Enter Sandman” was a blast and motivated the musicians to deliver an exceptional version of the Metallica hit.
This world record at the 40th Danube Island Festival, where anyone who can sing or play an instrument could join, reflects the true spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
